Senior Manger of Product Security Permanent

My client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Product Security to join their team. As the Senior Manager of Product Security, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product security strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals while mitigating risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small team of application security professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive product security program, including vulnerability assessment and management, secure coding practices, threat modeling, and security architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and other stakeholders, to ensure the product security strategy aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and best practices in product security, and continuously improve the product security program.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Communicate the risks and potential impacts of security vulnerabilities to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience in product security, with a strong technical background in secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment and management, threat modeling, and security architecture, DevSecOps and SSDLC.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS),
• Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to align the product security strategy with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security issues to stakeholders across the organization.
• Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex security problems.
