Security Software Developer

My client is who is one of the top trading firms in the world are looking to hire a Security Software Developer to join their elite cyber team in a fully remote position. Base salary can go up to $225k.

The hiring manager says what he is looking for is someone that does both secdevops and software development. The ideal candidate will also have experience with backend software development (mainly python, golang, and rust).

A list of key words that my client will want to see: Terraform, IaC, Linux, threat modelling, AWS, automation, incident response, container security, TCP/IP, Coding, C, C#, C++, Python, Rust, Golang

Essentially, what they have asked for is an individual that can tackle any project by solving problems with code. This could be for supporting the traders, or implementing security into the software engineering projects, or it could be an issue you have identified yourself and proactively decided to fix it.

This role will also include a large amount of greenfield work, building things from scratch working with state-of-the-art technology and tooling.
