This role has come about due to growth and the need for additional support. My client has their own forensics lab, so you will be able to do a lot of research and play around with different tools and techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have Windows and Mac forensics experience along with mobile device expertise. Linux is a bonus!. If you have experience in the analysis phase of digital forensic investigations and captured Windows, Linux, and macOS artifacts, this is the role for you.
The immediate need is for the Forensics Security Engineer to come in and do the analysis and further down the line will come the engineering, automation and projects once you are fully embedded. You will have the freedom to run with things, which I personally love about this team.
My client is looking for someone who has collected evidence, analyzed, and reported findings, worked on anything that requires investigation, phishing etc and anything incidence response.
This position is based out of Chicago and you will be able to work on a hybrid basis of which they are very flexible on how this is set up.
