I’m looking for an End Point Security Specialist that can respond to issues ranging from increasing the number of deployments to enhancing detection and prevention measures. This position will allow such a professional to engage in state-of-the-art attack detection platforms and collaborate with the wider team to improve protection measures. The Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) team member will work with a group of EDR specialist to assist with maintaining the detection and protection landscape across Siemens with the EDR tools used today which include Microsoft Defender, Crowdstrike and Carbon Black.
The Role
The main responsibilities for this role are to be an active participant within the Cybersecurity team to support the global deployment of security solutions. Moreover, you will need to interface with both internal departments and end users to resolve EDR issues to support the various business units within the organisation. You will also be involved in creating new approaches and methods to leverage EDR solutions against their detection platform. Lastly increasing the organisation’s security posture to enforce policies and provide the best EDR coverage possible.
The Candidate
You will need to hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or within a relevant field with 3 years of practical experience in Endpoint Security. Moreover, you will need to have sound knowledge of the of various operating systems such as Windows and Linux as well as troubleshooting techniques. The candidate will also need to be able to generate reports to communicate the EDR status information as needed to collaborate with other departments
The candidate will also need to have strong English skills in both in writing and speaking.
The Candidate must be eligible to work in Mexico without sponsorship.
