Counsel – Information Law

Information Law is extremely busy right now and 2024 is already seeing a lot of innovation, which in return creates opportunities for career advancement and this is exactly what I have. My client sits at the forefront of Information Law and they are looking to hire a Counsel to join their team of experienced, smart and passionate attorneys.

To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to switch lanes as one minute you could be advising a client on eDiscovery matters and the next a Cyber Data Breach, and it’s the ability to be knowledgeable in multiple areas of information law that my client needs. As Information Law specialists they cover the following areas and you will need to be experienced in at least two of them:

• eDiscovery
• Information Governance
• Data Privacy
• Data Breach/Incident Response

They also work across multiple sectors including, Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Transportation.

My client is open to candidates who have only worked in law firms or attorneys who have worked inhouse as long as you have a law firm background. However it’s very important that you have strong writing and analytical skills

This position would be ideal for Senior Associate who are on track to become a Partner, but isn’t there just yet. This is the type of position and company that can get elevate you to a Partner position in the future.

Salary:                                 $180k-$250k base + bonus
