Cloud Security Engineer (3-7 years) – Hedge Fund Permanent

We are representing a Hedge Fund in London that is early on in its cloud journey and would like to hire an engineer who is further ahead than they are but now wants to own and take on more responsibility. It is however essential that you have experience in both on-prem and cloud environments.

My client isn’t looking for a traditional cloud security engineer, however are after a cloud engineer with a development background who has worked on security related projects, understands security and wants to work more in this area and comes with both cloud engineering and security experience. Experience with one of the major cloud platforms is required (Azure, GCP or AWS) and development experience with Python or Go is essential. Automation, terraform and the surrounding tools are required as part of the role. You will also be involved in low level policy decisions.

Being a Hedge Fund, it’s fast paced, extremely innovative and offers a platform for strong academics to really succeed with like minded engineers. A preference would be for someone who is already in the hedge fund, trading of FS space.

They operate a hybrid working model out of Mayfair, London with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
