Cloud Security Architect- Fully Remote Opportunity in the US
Are you are a Cloud Security Architect and looking to join one of the worlds biggest product organisations who are currently expanding their team in the United States. In the role you will be adopting secure architecture patterns, engaging with security engineering practises such as DevSecOps and optimising cyber defence operations. You will also be leading a portfolio of security engagements and advising on the adoption of secure cloud security architecture as well as demonstrating key leadership qualities. This is an Opportunity for someone who has strong background in Cloud infrastructure (IasS, PaaS, SaaS, containers) and has experience across one or more of the global cloud providers (Aws, Azure and GCP.
Your daily tasks:
- Assess risks to bridge the gap between technical specialists and management level and drive appropriate measures to reduce risks.
- Contribute cybersecurity aspects to new/ existing Cloud projects (e.g., architecture, reviews, consulting), provided by IT, vendors, or providers.
- Deliver / develop cybersecurity resilient services together with IT Cloud architectures
- Take charge and implement a security/protection concept and keep security measures in place (e.g. exception handling, vulnerability remediation, penetration test planning, change requests)
- Provide security architecture designs and reviews for IT projects that cross multiple platforms.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree Cyber/ or InfoSec domain - 3+ years’ experience in Cyber Security Cloud topics (e.g., AWS, Azure, SaaS etc)
- 2+ years’ experience in Cyber Security architectures, including Cloud topics (e.g., CI/CD, Cloud-native security tooling etc)
- General knowledge of Cyber Security standards (ISO27001, NIST, BSI)
- Strong experience in the security architecture of Cloud projects
- Certifications are highly desired (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP).
- Experience in project work, as project manager and/or as a consultant.
- Experience working on a global scope
