DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer with a Passion for Penetration Testing

Iceberg is representing a hedge fund in London who is offering a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer who is passionate about offensive security the opportunity to join their penetration testing team. If you thrive at the intersection of development, security, and engineering, we want to hear from you.

What will you do?

• 70% Penetration Testing: Test the security of complex CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure (Active Directory, Windows, Linux), and other advanced environments.
• 30% Engineering: Develop and refine a new suite of automation tooling using Python and PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth penetration testing on infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows, and Linux systems, as well as applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Engineer new tools to automate security testing and integrate them into existing systems.
• Collaborate closely with CIRT and Purple Teams to develop innovative security solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by working with cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes and cloud-based architectures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Strong background in DevOps or DevSecOps, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and testing.
• Passion for Security: A deep interest in penetration testing, demonstrated through experience or strong personal projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and PowerShell; familiarity with Kubernetes, Active Directory, Windows, and Linux is a plus.
