Operating with a lean team, startup experience is essential, as you’ll be expected to build, ship, and maintain solutions independently with minimal support. Their tech stack focuses on TypeScript and Python, and they’re looking for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

Role: Backend Engineer

Type: Full-Time, Remote (US only)

Salary: $150k-$180k + Equity & Benefits

Must have: Eligible for U.S. Top Secret Clearance

What you’ll do:

• Develop high-performance software to scan large volumes of cryptographic data.
• Work in Python, TypeScript, and cloud-based environments.
• Design scalable, containerized solutions for complex data challenges.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of software development, with 3+ years in backend Python.
• Expertise with large files, multithreading, and cloud deployments.
• Experience with Docker, message queues (RabbitMQ, Celery), and CI/CD pipelines.
