My client, a rapidly growing SaaS cybersecurity start-up in New York, is leading the way in developing next-generation solutions to protect businesses from advanced digital threats. With new funding and aggressive growth plans, they are seeking a skilled Account Executive to support the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in driving their revenue strategy. The Account Executive will play a key role in expanding their market presence by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the cybersecurity sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the cybersecurity industry and a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.
Key Responsibilities:
– Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the cybersecurity market.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
– Present and demonstrate cybersecurity products and services to potential clients.
– Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
– Collaborate with the CRO to align on sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
– Provide regular feedback on market trends and client needs.
– Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s growth.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in a sales role within the cybersecurity industry, ideally in SaaS.
– Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
– Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Self-motivated, results-driven, and experienced in using CRM software.
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
